Technical Support Team Lead | Wymondham | £40k | Automotive Technology Lead from the front with a hands-on approach in a high impact technical role. We are looking for a Lead Technical Support Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems hands on while leading and developing a small support team. You will take ownership of technical support across our systems used by leading automotive and motorsport organisations. This role combines real technical depth with leadership and offers the opportunity to grow into a customer facing or product development position in the future. What you will be doing Provide technical leadership by taking an active hands-on role in investigating and resolving customer issues Own the planning and prioritisation of the support team’s workload in collaboration with project and commercial teams Act as a subject matter expert across IT systems, networks and mechanical systems Develop and coach support technicians to improve skills and deliver consistently excellent outcomes Improve processes, documentation and support delivery across the board What you will bring A proven track record in a senior or lead technical support role Hands on experience with ticketing systems and case management Strong cross disciplinary troubleshooting skills across IT, network and mechanical systems At least five years in a support focused technical environment with direct customer interaction A proactive mindset and desire to solve problems at the root cause level An interest in automotive, motorsport or simulation technologies is highly desirable Salary and Benefits Salary up to £40,000 25 days holiday plus bank holidays State-of-the-art facilities Free on-site parking Pension Healthcare Life Assurance Study support and professional development opportunities Friendly and collaborative team culture Additional company benefits
