We’re looking for a commercially minded Key Account Manager to nurture and grow relationships with existing customers and members, while developing new business opportunities.
What you’ll do
* Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts, building long‑term relationships and identifying upsell opportunities.
* Generate sales through consultative conversations: understand customer needs, shape solutions and close opportunities.
* Present the breadth of IMI solutions to customers and stakeholder groups.
* Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline for each allocated key account.
* Agree product packages and commercial terms through to the point of sale.
* Coordinate with internal teams to deliver a smooth, positive customer journey.
* Maintain effective territory and diary management to maximise regional coverage.
* Complete required reporting, forecasting and administration; use data and analysis tools to track activity and sector intelligence.
What you’ll bring
* Proven experience in consultative selling and key account management.
* Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence at a senior level.
* Confidence presenting to both small and large audiences.
* Commercial acumen with experience securing and closing deals.
* Excellent communication skills (oral and written), including report/proposal writing.
* Comfortable using data to inform decisions (analysis, reporting and forecasting).
* Strong IT literacy (Microsoft systems and tools).
* Sector knowledge in education or professional bodies and/or automotive retail.
* Knowledge of awarding and professional body operations.
