Are you an experienced manager with knowledge of rolling stock bids, tenders, leases and contracts?
If so, TXM Recruit are recruiting for an experienced Fleet Demobilisation Interface Manager located in Birmingham on a 6-month contract basis paying between £500 - £600 per day (outside IR35) This is to support a rail company during a key demobilisation project.
Key Responsibilities
* Experienced rail professional with strong understanding of train operating companies and fleet operations.
* You will act as the main interface between key stakeholders through a demobilisation programme, handling technical queries and the required responses.
* You will work closely with the finance and legal departments to respond to DfT queries.
* Working with legal representatives to clarify questions
* Involved throughout the bid process, logging technical queries and coordinating responses, mainly involving the Department for Transport, DfT.
* This role will include the drafting of board papers to support the contract requirements.
What we require?
* Knowledge of UK rail operations is key for the success of this role.
* The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background, coupled with excellent report writing skills.
* Strong understanding of the operation of a TOC
