About the RoleHays Education are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Teesside area on a long‑term supply basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a strong ECT with a passion for delivering engaging and practical lessons.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach Food Technology to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
2. Plan and deliver creative, practical, and theory‑based lessons
3. Manage a well‑organised and safe food technology classroom
4. Assess, monitor, and support student progress
5. Contribute positively to the wider schoolmunity
Requirements
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
7. Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3/4
8. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service – essential
9. Strong classroom management andmunication skills
10. Ability to start immediately andmit to a long‑term role
