A leading multi-disciplinary building services consultancy is looking to appoint a Graduate Public Health Engineer with around 1+ years of experience to join their growing team in Central London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious early-career engineer to join a well-established consultancy delivering innovative building services solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial, residential, mixed-use and education developments.
You will work within a collaborative engineering team, supporting the delivery of high-quality public health designs while developing your technical skills and working towards professional accreditation.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the design and coordination of public health engineering systems, including domestic hot and cold water services and drainage systems.
* Support the preparation of technical calculations, drawings, specifications and reports.
* Work closely with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to deliver coordinated building services designs.
* Liaise with architects, contractors and other project stakeholders throughout the design process.
* Attend project meetings and design coordination workshops.
* Support site inspections and surveys where required.
* Ensure designs comply with relevant UK standards and Building Regulations.
About You
* Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or similar.
* Approximately 1+ years’ experience within a building services consultancy or contractor environment.
* Understanding of public health systems within buildings, including water services and drainage.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Motivated to develop professionally and progress within the building services sector.
Desirable
* Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
* Awareness of sustainable building design and water efficiency strategies.
* Working towards, or interested in pursuing, professional accreditation with the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers.
