2. Conduct reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution environment
3. Utilize the latest tools to maximize equipment effectiveness
4. Maintain all health and safety policies and practices
5. Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices
6. Participate in continuous improvement projects and implement best practices across EU sites
A day in the life
Based on-site, RME Technicians respond swiftly to machinery issues, conducting planned maintenance to ensure safety and operational efficiency. They respond to breakdowns, investigate, troubleshoot, and implement solutions promptly, while also suggesting long-term improvements.
Technicians collaborate with senior colleagues on routine maintenance tasks such as painting and plumbing, liaising with external contractors as needed. They work various shifts to support site operations around the clock, enabling Amazon's rapid delivery service.
