LTE Group has an exciting opportunity to join our Risk and Compliance Department as a Risk and Compliance Business Partner on a permanent, full-time basis (37 hours per week).
Based out of our Openshaw campus in Manchester, this role involves significant travel across various locations to support the business.

Role Overview: Risk and Compliance Business Partner
Act as a strategic partner to business units, including Novus prison education, helping to embed risk, compliance, health, safety, and environmental practices into daily operations. The role ensures the organisation meets legal and ethical standards while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Report to the Risk & Compliance Director, leading risk management, health, safety, and environment practices across the organisation.
* Support business units in complying with laws and policies, conducting audits and inspections, supporting training, and providing expert advice.
* Prepare reports, investigate incidents, and promote a safe, responsible culture.
* Travel regularly to Novus sites across England and Wales and collaborate with trade unions.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
* Degree/Diploma in Risk Management, Law, Business, Health & Safety, or related field preferred.
* Relevant professional certifications (e.g., IRM, CCEP, IOSH) advantageous.
* Experience in risk management, compliance, or health, safety & environment.
* Proven track record of implementing HSE and Risk & Compliance Systems.
* Experience with ISO Standards (45001/14001/31000).
* Understanding of Occupational Health Programs.
* Experience in education or public sector is a plus.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
* Project management skills are beneficial.
* Ability to draft policies, reports, and training materials.
