Job Description Job Title : Commercial Property Solicitor Location : Oldham, Greater Manchester Job Type : Permanent, Full-time Salary : £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience) Join Our Client's Award-Winning Team! We are seeking a qualified Commercial Property Solicitor with approximately five years PQE to join our client's dynamic and expanding commercial property department. This role will involve managing a varied caseload focused on the buying and selling of commercial property, including lease work for private individuals, companies, partnerships, and pension funds. You will handle cases involving a diverse range of properties such as bare land, hotels, high street buildings, shopping complexes, restaurants, agricultural properties, and any other premises used for commercial purposes. Additionally, you will assist in due diligence for corporate transactional work. Key Responsibilities: Manage and build your own caseload within a thriving commercial property department, taking instructions on new inquiries and providing advice autonomously and collaboratively on larger transactional cases. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal/external contacts on behalf of the team. Prepare contracts, correspondence, and legal documents using Case Management, including Practical Law. Handle a range of transactional matters autonomously, including: Commercial Property Sales and Purchases Pension Fund Acquisitions/Disposals Commercial Landlord and Tenant matters (leases, renewals, assignments, and underlettings, including advice on LTA 1954) Overage and Commercial Sales of Land (whole and part) for development Demonstrate proficiency in all key stages of transactional workflows, managing transactions from start to finish. Person Specification: Essential Skills and Qualifications : Strong academic background. Experience working independently as well as part of a team. Excellent IT, organizational, presentation, and communication skills. A proactive approach to networking and building professional connections. Personal Attributes : Reliable and diligent, with a keen attention to detail. Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a collaborative team. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, especially under pressure.
