Reeson Education is working with a fantastic SEMH school in the WA1 area of Warrington to recruit a Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis.
This specialist school supports students across Key Stages 2, 3 & 4 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. They provide a nurturing, inclusive, and structured environment where students can develop academically, emotionally, and socially. The school promotes resilience, confidence, and independence, using a positive reinforcement approach to help pupils make meaningful progress.
Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
1. Provide classroom support as a Teaching Assistant to students with SEMH needs
2. Work 1:1 and in small groups to help pupils build confidence and progress
3. Support students in developing social and emotional skills alongside their academic learning
4. Help create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
