We create some of the world’s most beloved brands, including Fairy, Ariel, Lenor, Oral-B, and Pampers. We’re on the lookout for a dedicated and hardworking Pick Operator to join our London Distribution Centre at the P&G London Plant in West Thurrock.
As a Manual Picking Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our manual picking activities are executed efficiently and safely. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute the Manual Picking Process, ensuring timely completion of picking activities to meet outbound customer load requirements while adhering to safety and quality standards.
* Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to move pallets and materials effectively.
* Understand and adhere to safety, quality, and internal control expectations.
* Promptly raise near misses, quality alerts, and report any standards outages to maintain operational integrity.
* Identify and document defects in the work area, contributing to a safe and productive environment.
* Maintain workplace standards and equipment in the Picking area for optimal performance.
* Complete all required safety, quality, and internal control training with 100% completion.
* Manage personal breaks to ensure optimal productivity.
* Communicate clearly with team members to foster teamwork and reliability.
* Support business needs by performing additional tasks such as de-wrapping, bailing, makeups, or stock checks.

Note: This is a shift-based role (Days and Nights). Shifts are 12 hours, averaging 40 hours a week across a two-week period.
Qualifications:
* Valid FLT license/certification.
* Previous forklift or warehouse experience preferred.
* Strong understanding of warehouse operations.
* Proficient in operating various forklift types.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Effective communication skills.
* Familiarity with warehouse safety regulations.
