About the role: You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that support the progress and development of children in Key Stage 2. With a strong emphasis on behaviour management and inclusive learning, you’ll play a vital role in nurturing pupil growth and achievement. As a Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher, your responsibilities will be: Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and targeted lessons in accordance with the KS2 curriculum Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic standards Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment Work collaboratively with support staff, colleagues, and senior leaders Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events Support the school’s ethos, values, and safeguarding policies KS2 Teacher Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (placement experience considered for ECTs) Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks Excellent classroom management skills A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to teaching Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply) Why Join GSL Education?
