This is an exciting opportunity to join Elysium Healthcare as a Mental Health Act and Quality Administrator at their Ty Glyn Ebwy facility in Ebbw Vale. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the department upholds a confidential and efficient service in accordance with the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended November 2007).
This role includes managing and analyzing Mental Health Act correspondence and documentation, liaising with clinicians and other stakeholders, and improving processes to enhance service delivery.
As the Mental Health Act and Quality Administrator, you will work as part of the administration team at Ty Glyn Ebwy, an established Eating Disorder service. Your responsibilities include managing and analyzing Mental Health Act correspondence and documentation, undertaking assessment requests, transfer of authority, consent to treatments, renewals of detention, and arranging hearings, tribunals, and appeals.
You will liaise with clinicians, allied professionals, service users, their families, legal representatives, and official agencies, responding to enquiries and requests for information in accordance with company policy, service level agreements, and statutory regulations.
