Assistant Mechanical Project Manager \nLocation: South London\nSalary: £25,000 – £35,000 + Travel Expenses + Benefits\n\nCompany Overview\n\nOur client is a well-established, privately-owned mechanical contractor based in South London, with over 25 years of experience in the industry. With a team of around 35 staff, the company specialises in fast-track commercial office fit-out projects across London, managing project values ranging from £500k to £11.5 million.\n\nRole Overview\n\nThey are currently seeking an Assistant Mechanical Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of experience in the building services industry who is looking to develop a long-term career in project delivery.\n\nIn this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple departments including Estimating, Quantity Surveying, CAD & Design, and Project Management.
The company provides comprehensive training and mentorship to support your development and provide a well-rounded understanding of project delivery from start to finish.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nInitially office-based in South London to develop foundational knowledge of internal processes\nParticipate in training across all key areas of the business\nProgress to site-based roles, shadowing Senior Project Managers on live projects\nTake increasing responsibility, eventually managing smaller projects independently\nWhat They’re Looking For\n\nMinimum 1 year of experience in the building services or M&E sector\nEnthusiastic and proactive approach to learning and development\nStrong communication and organisational skills\nEagerness to build a long-term career within project management\nPackage\n\nSalary: £25,000 – £35,000 (dependent on experience)\nTravel expenses to site covered\n20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays (increasing to 25 days after 2 years of service)\nCompany pension scheme\n\nFor more information or to apply, please contact Sean Hitchman at (phone number removed) or via email at (url removed)
