A respected, privately owned constructin contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of redevelopment projects that include major façade and building-envelope packages. Main Purpose * Manage all construction activities from pre-start to final handover on complex refurbishment schemes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. * Oversee projects that feature significant façade elements, coordinating with specialist contractors and ensuring compliance with all Building Regulations and Golden Thread Gateway 1–3 requirements. * Provide strong leadership to site teams, supply chain partners, and client stakeholders. Key Responsibilities * Take full responsibility for day-to-day management of site operations, programme, and cost control. * Develop and maintain robust project programmes, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions when necessary. * Lead on Health & Safety, ensuring strict compliance with statutory obligations and company policies. * Coordinate closely with the Design Manager, commercial team, and external consultants to ensure buildability and value engineering. * Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, and performance, including specialist façade/cladding packages. * Chair regular progress meetings and produce accurate, timely reports for senior management and the client. * Maintain excellent client relationships and act as the principal point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. * Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaborative working. Essential Skills & Qualifications * Proven track record as a Project Manager delivering refurbishment or mixed-use projects that incorporated major façade or cladding packages * Good understanding of Golden Thread Gateway 1–3 requirements relating to Building Regulations. * Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. * Excellent knowledge of construction methods, planning, and sequencing for refurbishment and live-site environments. * Thorough understanding of CDM regulations, health and safety legislation, and quality management. * SMSTS, CSCS (Manager level), First Aid at Work; * IT literacy (MS Project/Primavera or similar, Word, Excel)
