JOB DESCRIPTION:
Title: Business Planner
Department: Business Excellence / Central Business Office
Reporting To: Factory Manager
Rate: £27.21 Per hour (Inside IR35)
Location: Warwickshire, UK (Onsite)
Employment Type: Rolling Renewing Contract (12 Months)(No Sponsorship Provided)
Role Purpose:
This role sits within the Central Business Office and is responsible for the delivery of Engineering Operations Operational Budget requirements. You will manage operational processes, ensure budget is spent in a controlled manner, and provide metrics and monthly reports that contribute to the company’s future.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
* Lead the Engineering Operational Resource Budget, including stakeholder management and driving overall budget strategy.
* Manage \"Glidepath\" and resource planning for operations, identifying future investment opportunities.
* Support the delivery of the operational budget and proactively flag financial or operational risks as they occur.
* Develop and manage business processes within the Factory Office to contribute to the company’s growth.
* Responsible for maintaining metrics and producing monthly reports for the executive team.
* Interface with various business areas including HR, Finance, and Management teams up to Director level.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Essential:
* Significant experience within a formal Budgeting Process.
* Proven ability to work within cross-functional teams.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint).
* Extensive experience delivering customer support services.
* Strong presentation skills with the confidence to influence senior leadership.
Desirable:
* Practical experience with SAP and RADs.
