Overview

We have a great opportunity for a Youth Employment Hub Support Worker on a full time, fixed term / secondment basis for 12 months.

About You

Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and achieve their goals? Do you have the empathy, energy and resilience to make a real difference every day?

As a Youth Employment Hub Support Worker, you will provide support, informal mentoring and encouragement to young people engaging with the Youth Hub. We are looking for a caring, organised and proactive person to join our new Youth Employment Hub as a Support Worker, providing one-to-one guidance, support, signposting and mentoring.


About The Team

You will join our friendly team, based at the Open Learning Centre alongside the Bracknell Skills Hub and Jobcentre Plus colleagues. You will report to the Youth Employment Hub Coordinator, with the role sitting within our Economic Development Team. It is a collaborative, community-focused team where we work together to remove barriers, create opportunities and make a lasting difference to young people’s futures.


Key responsibilities

* Build trusted relationships with young people and provide one-to-one support, mentoring and signposting.
* Assess barriers to employment and develop personalised action plans.
* Help young people access local services for housing, health, budgeting and wellbeing.
* Encourage youth voice and participation in shaping the Hub.
* Support group activities, workshops and employer engagement events.
