What the Job Involves This role involves undertaking complex conveyancing work for the Council, including large acquisitions and disposals, sales to tenants, and legal proceedings relating to compulsory purchases. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal standards, preparing necessary documents, and representing the Council at Courts, Tribunals, and Inquiries. Additionally, you will be expected to contribute to policy development and service improvement within the Housing and Property legal team, liaise with various internal and external stakeholders, handle compensation claims for displaced tenants, and complete any other tasks as directed by management.
