My client, a well-established law firm with 40 years of history, is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join their team in central London. The firm specializes in HNW Immigration, International Protection and Human Rights, White Collar Crime, Sanctions, Civil Litigation, and Arbitration.
Reporting to the Partners, the Practice Manager will oversee a diverse workload to facilitate the delivery of legal services.
Responsibilities
* Management of Administration and Support functions
* Support for IT, Finance, and Compliance teams, including breach register management
* Organization of business and buildings insurance
* Approval and monitoring of office supplies
* Review and update of Office Manual policies
* Planning and coordination of training
* Management of employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle
* Absence and performance management
* Monitoring chargeable hours and utilization
* Managing non-billable commitments with Partners and stakeholders
* Ensuring all employees have up-to-date right to work status
* Coordination of internship and work experience programs
* Project management as required
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Practice Manager or similar in a law firm
* Strong knowledge of SRA Code of Conduct and Accounts Rules
* Growth mindset and commitment to lifelong learning
* Excellent stakeholder management skills
* Focus on resource management and business impact
* Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills
