Apply Now for our Recruitment Team to review.DUTIESYour duties as the CNC Miller Programmer / Setter / Operator include:Engineering Drawings: Read and interpret engineering drawings and work accurately to tight tolerancesCNC Programming and Operating: Use relevant CNC milling, programming and operating experience to produce precision machined componentsTool Setting: Set tools confidently, applying a good understanding of cutting speeds and feedsQuality Inspection: Use inspection and measuring equipment such as verniers, bore gauges and micrometresComponent Finishing: Deburr machined components during production while minimising disruption to workflowProduction Standards: Produce high-quality machined components in line with company standardsDeadline Management: Work efficiently to meet challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProblem Solving: Take a proactive approach to resolving issues and maintaining smooth production workflowCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSCNC Milling Experience: Previous experience as a CNC Miller, CNC Machinist or similar precision engineering roleProgramming and Operating: Experience with CNC programming and machine operatingTechnical Drawings: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accuratelyTolerance Work: Confident working to tight tolerances within a manufacturing or engineering environmentTooling Knowledge: Good understanding of tool setting, cutting speeds and feedsMeasuring Equipment: Experience using verniers, bore gauges, micrometres and other inspection equipmentWork Ethic: Strong work ethic with an efficient, reliable and methodical approachProblem Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving production or machining issuesBENEFITSBasic 38-hour week with an early finish on FridaysOvertime opportunities23 days annual leave plus bank holidaysBirthday leaveWellbeing dayChristmas Eve leaveContributory pension schemeLife insuranceOccupational health screeningHOW TO APPLYTo be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
