The Business Integrity (BI) team promotes and protects our Spirit of Integrity by designing, implementing, and monitoring effective ethics and compliance programs, partnering with market and functional leaders.
This role supports the Marketing Leadership team and the Diageo Luxury Group, which includes luxury brands and experiences. It also has line management responsibilities for the Brand Homes BI Lead(s) in Ireland and Scotland, overseeing iconic visitor centers and distilleries.
The BI Function lead will act as the primary contact for the Luxury MD and leadership teams, promoting ethical and compliant behavior across all levels. Responsibilities include implementing BI programs, communication, employee engagement, internal and external campaigns, and ensuring compliance with policies.
Role Responsibilities
1. Embedding Culture of Integrity: Support the implementation of BI programs and policies, promoting ethical behavior within the Function.
2. Training, Communication, and Awareness: Deliver training and awareness initiatives tailored to the local context.
3. Risk Management Support: Facilitate proactive risk management and address emerging risks, supporting local risk activities.
4. Speak Up and Investigations Support: Manage Speak Up cases, investigations, and remediation actions.
5. Monitoring and BI Controls Implementation: Monitor compliance with key controls and flag risks.
6. Controls Support: Support the Global Controls Assurance team with control design and mapping.
7. Data and Reporting Support: Provide data inputs and conduct basic analysis for reporting.
8. Governance and Reporting Support: Assist with governance processes and ensure proper reporting.
9. Change Management Support: Facilitate rollout of new BI programs and updates.
10. Investigation and Root Cause Analysis: Oversee breach investigations and systemic issue analyses.
11. Team Leadership and Talent Development: Develop career plans and mentor team members.
Experience Required
* Proven experience in compliance, ethics, governance, risk management, and internal controls; investigations and root cause analysis skills are essential.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, integrity, adaptability, and cultural awareness.
* Excellent communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement.
