Blow Moulding Shift Manager - FMCG Manufacturing Location: Severnside Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days & Nights) We are recruiting a Blow Moulding Shift Manager to lead a high-volume FMCG manufacturing operation at our Severnside site. This role is responsible for managing blow moulding production, leading shift teams, and delivering performance across safety, quality, output, waste and cost on a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern. This is a hands-on manufacturing shift management role, ideal for an experienced Shift Manager, Production Shift Manager or Manufacturing Shift Leader with exposure to blow moulding, plastics or highly automated production environments. Key Responsibilities - Blow Moulding Shift Manager Shift & People Management Manage and lead blow moulding shift teams to achieve production, safety and quality targets Act as the senior decision-maker on shift within the manufacturing area Set clear expectations, manage performance, attendance and capability Drive engagement, discipline and standards through visible shop-floor leadership Health, Safety, Quality & Compliance Lead Health & Safety performance within the blow moulding area Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and environmental standards Lead incident, accident and near-miss investigations and close corrective actions Complete audits, QCP checks and ensure standards are embedded Manufacturing Performance & Continuous Improvement Deliver daily production plans across blow moulding operations Drive improvements in OEE, waste reduction, cost and efficiency Use KPIs, SPC and performance data to identify and resolve issues Lead effective shift handovers and escalation of engineering issues Work closely with Engineering on TPM, asset care and breakdown reduction Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as a Shift Manager / Production Shift Manager / Manufacturing Manager Background in FMCG manufacturing, blow moulding, plastics or automated processing Strong understanding of Health & Safety, Quality, CI and performance management Confident people manager with experience leading teams on shift Data-driven and structured problem solver Willingness to work a 4 on / 4 off days and nights shift pattern What We Offer Senior leadership role within a high-profile blow moulding manufacturing operation Clear opportunities for career progression and development Up to 10% annual bonus 4x life assurance Private healthcare hiring You can find out more about Mller and what its like to work for us by clicking here Careers at Mller UK & Ireland
