Rates of Pay TypeShiftRate PAYEEarlies£22.23 UmbrellaEarlies£30.56Working Hours Earlies: 06:00-14:15 (Mon-Thu) / 06:00-12:00 (Fri) Role Overview As a Skilled Painter, you will contribute to the production of high-quality metallic and composite aircraft components and assemblies, ensuring all work meets technical and manufacturing specifications. Main Duties: Mask components according to technical drawings and plans Mix and apply specialist fillers and paint systems (primer, topcoat, anti-abrasion, gloss finishes) Perform manual abrading and orbital sanding Apply edge sealing and resins Operate curing booths and monitor curing cycles Conduct quality checks (e.g., tape tests, isoscope, gloss measurement) You will work independently, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy, while contributing to a proactive, safety-conscious, and collaborative team environment.
