The Role: Lead Test Engineer

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and execute test cases for web applications.
* Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
* Identify, document, and track defects using standard tools.
* Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
* Validate application deployments in various environments (development, staging, production).
* Test application behaviour with different database backends and server configurations.
* Verify application compatibility with virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
* Participate in infrastructure-related troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
* Contribute to test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements:
* Experience in web application testing (manual and automated).
* Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, etc.).
* Understanding of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and server administration (Linux/Windows).
* Knowledge of networking basics and cloud platforms is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
