We have an exciting new opportunity for a large animal vet to join our fantastic team at Putlands Veterinary Surgery in Paddock Wood, Kent.
Our RCVS accredited practice cares for Small Animal, Farm and Equine patients and we have been established since 1977! We are a forward-thinking clinic and are able to offer an extensive range of both medical and surgical services on site.
Your new role will be working in our fully equipped clinic which includes facilities such as x-ray, Easi-scan ultrasound, endoscope, in-house haematology/biochemistry machine, motorised equine dental rasp and ram/bull fertility testing equipment. We have a variable caseload including beef, sheep, dairy, camelid and smallholder clients, alongside first opinion equine cases.
The practice is fortunate to have a large animal prep room, equine stocks, lambing shed and stabling facilities on site to allow us to further work up cases as needed.
We have an experienced and friendly team of vets and nurses to support you and our whole team are always willing to help and support each other. We are looking for someone who shares our values of teamwork, enthusiasm and passion for animal care. This role is truly mixed, with equal farm and equine work, but could be tailored to your preferences or strengths.
The ideal candidate will be someone that has a few years of clinical experience, can work independently to excellent clinical standards and is enthusiastic and passionate about veterinary medicine.
