Napier Turbocharger, a Wabtec Company, is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our well‑established team that designs, manufactures, and tests industrial turbochargers for the Power Generation, Marine and Rail Traction industries.
Job Overview
Role: Logistics Coordinator
Salary: £Competitive
Location: LN5 7FD, Lincoln
Contract Type: Full‑Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday‑Thursday 07:30am‑15:45pm and Friday 07:30am‑15:15pm
How will you make a difference?
The position involves a variety of activities within the Supply Chain Management function, working as part of a successful team and liaising with internal departments and freight forwarders daily to meet business objectives.
Typical Day
* Management of stock between onsite and offsite storage facilities
* Spare deliveries and coordination
* Stores optimisation and stock management
* Liaise with stores, goods in/out, and logistics administration
* Coordinate the movement of goods and products coming in and oversee distribution both internally and externally
What do we want to know about you?
* Valid UK driving licence required
* Experience in an operational logistics environment preferred
* Experience with an ERP system and import/export functions valuable
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software
