The role is Hybrid where you will be expected to come into our office in Peterlee What You Will Be Doing Reporting to one of our Engineering leads, you will be hands-on and keen to learn. You will be working alongside colleagues in our multi-disciplined team to: Collaborate on the design of secure, scalable, and highly available, cost optimised, cloud infrastructure. Implement technologies within our environments using Infrastructure-as-Code Monitor & manage our systems for availability Support the team in the application of Agile through Scrum and Kanban, adopting the usual rituals and the use of our end-to-end processes. To be considered as the successful candidate, you will need to be able to possess and demonstrate the following capabilities: Developing and deploying via Infrastructure-as-Code. You will need to be proficient in the use of Terra form, YAML and ARM templates and be ready to develop your skillset. Creation, monitoring and management of cloud artifacts in the Microsoft Azure Cloud, using the Cloud Adoption Framework(CAF)via Azure DevOps. Ability to build and manage services deployed into Kubernetes, the role of container configuration and the management of Helm charts. Your application will be additionally attractive if you can demonstrate experience with: Using AI to enhance productivity, such as code building and coding assistance Cost optimization of deployable resources following Fin Ops practices Understanding of code written in C#.Net Understanding of scripting tools such as Powershell, Bash, Python, Bicep Understanding of Linux operating systems(Ubuntu) An understanding of observ ability platforms.
