About the opportunity:
e have an opportunity for an E-Steam Education Tutor to join the team and support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of high-quality learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths (STEAM).
Working under the direct line management of the e-STEAM Senior Coordinator, the tutor will deliver engaging sessions for children, young people, adults, and families across schools and wider community settings
Other key responsibilities will include:
* Deliver high-quality, engaging e-STEAM sessions for children, young people, adults, and families, maximising the use of the Digital Skills Lab and its technologies
* Support the planning, development, and evaluation of the e-STEAM programme content under the guidance of the e-STEAM Senior Coordinator, embedding Digital Skills Lab resources throughout
* Assist teachers, community partners, and residents to enhance confidence and knowledge in delivering STEAM learning activities using the Digital Skills Lab
* Create practical opportunities for participants of all ages to develop digital skills, creativity, and problem-solving through hands-on use of Digital Skills Lab resources
* Deliver community-based sessions that engage families and wider local groups, promoting inclusion, digital literacy, and lifelong learning beyond the school setting
Safeguarding
* To understand the Club’s Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines.
* To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to an Anti-bullying environment.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an individual who has experience of planning and preparing engaging and inclusive sessions and a good understanding of coding and robotics.
Our successful candidate will also demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and experience:
* Ability to plan, prepare and deliver STEM interventions
* Knowledge of the requirements of National Curriculum across STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Maths
* Experience working with children identified as SEND
* Experience of working with young people from age 5-11
* Creative and innovative in planning and delivering sessions for participants

This position will be offered on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, 35 hours per week with the role being based at EitC campus and mobile when required
