Eccles 6th Form College invites applications for a Teacher of Health and Social Care (SCCG2853C) role on a 12-month maternity cover. We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher to deliver engaging lessons across our Health and Social Care curriculum. The ideal candidate will bring a positive mindset, set high expectations, and captivate students through a variety of well-structured and diverse lessons. As part of a dynamic and passionate team, you will contribute to raising achievement, unlocking the full potential of each learner, and promoting outstanding teaching and learning across the department. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs, with full support provided to new teachers.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging lessons across the Health and Social Care curriculum.
* Promote high expectations, raise achievement, and support students to reach their full potential.
* Plan and deliver well-structured and diverse lessons, with opportunities for student engagement and progression.
* Provide guidance and support to students through Health and Social Care qualifications.
* Collaborate with a dynamic team to maintain outstanding teaching and learning standards.
Qualifications
* Qualified teacher with a subject specialism in Health and Social Care or related field.
* Applications welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs); full support provided to new teachers.
