Overview
Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Multi‑skilled Building Services Engineer, electrically qualified with a good understanding of HVAC. Responsible for carrying out scheduled Planned Maintenance and reactive requirements on the assigned site.
Location
Eldon Square, Newcastle
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday – Engineers are contracted to 42.5 hours per week with overtime starting after 47.5 hours.
Responsibilities
* Attend Cambridge Maintenance site to ensure that maintenance, servicing and repairs are carried out in accordance with Cambridge Maintenance standards and current relevant legislation.
* Test and certify electrical installations and minor works in accordance with the NIC/EIC Approved Contractor scheme and IET BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
* Communicate regularly and effectively with clients, suppliers and Cambridge Maintenance personnel to maintain professional relationships and ensure smooth operation of the business.
* Organise work allocated time efficiently and work supportively within a team.
* Complete site logs and site diaries on a daily basis.
* Submit clear, concise and accurate task sheets and reports (with photographs) daily, with clear recommendations for any further work required.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
* Electrically qualified City & Guilds Level 3
* Ability to carry out installation of plant, fixtures and fittings as required
* Ability to service and repair onsite plant, fixtures and fittings
* Ability to organise various housekeeping tasks and arrangements
* Ability to fault find electrical equipment faults within commercial properties
Desired Skills & Qualifications
* Training in Legionella Awareness & Emergency Lighting Regulations
* 18th Edition
* PASMA Certification
* 2391 test and inspection
