The Role
As a Paraplanner, youll work closely with advisers to deliver high-quality, compliant financial advice and play a key part in helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Youll be responsible for conducting in-depth product research, preparing financial plans, and producing clear, accurate suitability reports all while contributing to a positive, professional team environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct detailed research on financial products, including pensions, investments, insurance, and tax strategies.
2. Analyse client portfolios and identify opportunities for improvement or growth.
3. Prepare tailored financial plans and recommendations in line with client objectives.
4. Draft high-quality suitability reports and investment proposals.
5. Ensure all work meets FCA compliance standards.
6. Attend client meetings when required to assist with fact-finding and risk profiling.
7. Provide clients with regular updates and reviews of their portfolios.
About You
8. Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4) or working towards completion.
9. Previous experience in a Paraplanning or Financial Planning Support role.
10. Strong knowledge of financial products and services.
11. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
12. Confident working both independently and as part of a team.
13. Proficient in financial planning software and Microsoft Office.
