Maintenance Technician – Electrical Bias Location: Salary: Up to £38k plus 22% Shift Premium

Morning: Mon to Thur - 6am - 2pm / Fri - 6am - 11.Are you a technically skilled Maintenance Technician with an electrical background, looking to make an impact in a high-performing manufacturing environment? We are looking for an experienced individual to join a leading production facility in Skelmersdale. Overtime is often available.
Delivering both preventive maintenance and reactive repair of machinery and equipment.
Carrying out in-line quality checks and using Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques.
Analysing operational data to diagnose faults and develop targeted improvement plans.
Supporting the development of finished goods in line with quality, cost, and scheduling goals.
Mentoring and training junior staff with a positive, collaborative approach.
Building effective cross-functional relationships with engineering, operations, and quality teams
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (training may be offered).
~ Strong fault-finding skills across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and servo systems.
~ PLC diagnostics experience (Omron preferred).
~ Experience with automated assembly lines and robotic systems (ABB desirable).
~ Able to read and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics.
~ Ability to work night shifts on rare occasions, if required.
~ Familiarity with following SOPs and structured training processes.
