Area Cleaning Manager

The Role:
1. Area Cleaning Manager.
2. 40 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday.
3. £30,900 per annum DOE plus a company van.
4. The area: 4 sites in West Sussex, Haywards Heath College, Brinsbury College, Crawley College and CGG Varidien.
5. The team: about 40 cleaners and a Site Supervisor on each site.
As one of our Area Cleaning Managers on our contracts in West Sussex, you will make sure the cleaning operations run smoothly and to budget. You will be responsible for looking after your team of cleaners on the different sites. Depending on the set up of each site there will be a team of around 5 to 15 cleaning colleagues.
Your role will be to ensure that your team has all the skills and tools they need to thrive in their job to provide clean, hygienic and safe environments for the building users. This includes recruiting, onboarding, and training your team as well as looking after their motivation, wellbeing, and performance. You will also be responsible for ordering the stock for each site, carrying out regular site audits and completing timesheets to make sure everyone is paid correctly every month.
You will be working closely with one other Area Cleaning Manager and two Site Managers for the contract and report into the Service Manager for the area.
