Test Automation Engineer
with strong expertise in manual testing, automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines across infrastructures. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through robust testing strategies, automation, and collaboration across cross-functional teams. Accountabilities Good Experience in Manual Testing and SQL Server Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using modern tools (e.g. Playwright, Selenium) Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and automation scripts Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.) Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure quality from the start Monitor, track and report on defects and test results Lead troubleshooting and debugging of test failures and platform issues Drive continuous improvement of QA practices, automation coverage and pipeline efficiency Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices Skills Automation Testing:
Strong hands-on experience with frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, or similar Programming:
Proficient in Python; knowledge of Robot Framework is a plus Testing Expertise:
Skilled in UI and API test automation Cloud & CI/CD:
Practical experience with AWS (preferred), or Azure/GCP; strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools Pipeline Tools:
Familiar with AWS Code Pipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps Database :
Very proficient in SQL Server Querying Problem Solving:
Strong debugging, analytical and troubleshooting skills Collaboration:
Excellent communicator, able to work closely with cross-functional teams Organisation:
Strong time management and ability to deliver across multiple priorities Knowledge & Experience Solid experience in test automation and QA engineering roles Proven ability to build test frameworks from scratch Familiarity with testing cloud-based environments and continuous delivery practices Experience leading testing initiatives within agile/DevOps teams Experience working with Test Management Tool JIRA. Lead the design and execution of automated testing strategies to ensure our systems and infrastructure meet the highest standards. You’ll focus on automation, cloud technologies, and CI/CD pipelines. The Test and Release engineer will use innovative problem-solving, forward-compatible automation and best practice test lab management to optimise our test facilities and capabilities. Supports Smart Utilities Networks (SUN) and Media & Broadcast (M&B) end-to-end testing. You will design, build and maintain test automation for our network connectivity and communications device testing, enabling more tests to be run remotely and reducing test-set configuration times. To manage and support test environments that mirror production conditions, you will ensure quality, reliability and innovation at every stage of development.
