The School and Role
Are you a confident, skilled teacher ready to inspire and lead a Year 6 class through their final year of primary school? We are looking for a passionate and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join one of our school Teams in Rochdale from September 2025.
The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of the Year 6 curriculum, including SATs preparation, and be able to confidently deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that challenge and support all learners. You will be someone who can command the classroom with respect, nurture, and empathy, creating a safe and positive environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
Requirements
To be considered for the Teacher, you will:
Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Confident classroom presence with excellent behaviour management
Strong understanding of upper Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Year 6 expectations
A nurturing, empathetic approach to pupil wellbeing and development
Ability to motivate and inspire pupils to achieve their best
Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment
