A vacancy has arisen for a Corporal (People Ops - RAF PTI) to serve as JNCO PEd at MOD LYNEHAM on Full Time Reserve Service (Home Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 27 July 2026 (or earlier/later, subject to candidate status). The JNCO Physical Education Flight (PEd Flt), is responsible to FS PEd Flt, through the Sgt PEd Flt, for administrative matters within the PEd Flt. In general terms, the post acts as the focal point, and a conduit, for personnel relating to all administration elements of the PEd Flt, providing timely and accurate advice whenever required. The post holder will be responsible to the Sgt PEd of No 4SofTT for the performance of their duties, which will include the following: • Directly responsible for the overall management of the following: o Deliver and support all aspects of the PEd Fitness Strategy and 4SofTT PEd Directive. o Maintain effective communication with 4SofTT and Base personnel. o Control the delivery of RAF Fitness Tests, taking responsibility for all administration processes. o Produce monthly RAF Fitness Test statistics and complete the 4SofTT Fitness Table. o Responsible for all DRTP trg, liaising with ERI and RMC for updated information. o Assisting as Deputy in the Admin office/desk when called upon to do so. o Effective control over the 4SofTT Gym Sports store, ensuring all kit is issued correctly and routine checks are completed. o Complete routine checks for Gym, Staff Changing room, Classroom and Permanent Staff Changing rooms. o Responsible for the crewing of the front office within working hours. o Responsible for the gym keys. o Maintain all notice boards and promulgate sports and AT PR to 4SofTT and Base personnel. • The post is also required to undertake the following duties as they arise: • Instructing directed and formal trg PEd sessions. • Conducting lunchtime circuits and spinning. • Conduct RAFFT. • Lifestyle counselling. • RAF Swimming Test. • Gym Inductions. • Ensuring all gym consumables are maintained – towels, spray and soap.
