This role offers hybrid working, with 2 days per week working from our Peterborough office.
The Main Focus of the Role:
As a Digital Commercial Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial revenue streams for a portfolio of brands including Parkers, MCN, Car, MCN Compare, Mustard, and Take a Break Bingo. Working closely with the Digital Operations Director, you will align strategies with financial KPIs and the strategic direction of brands and commercial partnerships. Your focus will be on maximizing revenue growth through effective management of 3rd party partnerships and optimisation of digital operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Third-Party Relationship Management: Manage a selection of 3rd party commercial relationships in specialist markets to maximize commercial revenues. Collaborate with external partners to ensure optimal benefit for consumers and the organization.
2. Performance Monitoring and Reporting : Monitor and report on traffic, marketing, and revenue performance, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement and achieve targets.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, editorial, and senior management to ensure targets are met and growth is achieved across all revenue streams. Collaborate with these teams to develop campaigns promoting commercial relationships and driving traffic from internal and external sources.
4. Website Development: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop websites and strategies for promoting products effectively. Ensure alignment with product roadmaps and optimize placement of products to drive revenue.
5. Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor activity and performance, identifying opportunities and threats to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
6. New Revenue Opportunities: Identify and scope new revenue opportunities that align with the strategic goals of each site. Collaborate with the Digital Operations Director and wider commercial teams to explore and capitalise on these opportunities.
7. Supporting Commercial Partnerships: Support the Digital Operations Director and wider commercial teams with both existing and new commercial partnerships, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and driving mutual success.
What You'll Bring:
8. Proven experience in digital commerce operations, with a track record of driving revenue growth and managing third-party partnerships.
9. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
11. Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
12. Experience in managing commercial relationships and negotiating agreements with third-party partners.
13. Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and techniques.
14. Familiarity with website development and optimisation principles.
15. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
