Our specialist client is currently recruiting a Maintenance Team Leader who will have overall accountability for ensuring that the Maintenance Team conform to compliance requirements. You will assist the Site Leader in setting the Sites’ budget and the site KPI’s with day-to-day responsibility for monitoring application of KPIs and ensuring that necessary corrective actions are in place whilst ensuring that the budget/maintenance/process targets are met or exceeded. Responsibilities Ensure Maintenance Plan is in place to meet legal, compliance and output requirements and to protect company’s assets. Triage helpdesk requests and assign resource to ensure reactive maintenance is completed in a timely manner to reduce impact to production. Be actively involved in fault diagnosis as well as resolution to minimise reoccurring faults. Devise and monitor processes for ensuring the defined maintenance plan is adhered to and performance reported on every month. Forward plan maintenance activities to ensure adequate resource is in place and that Permit to Works and Risk assessments are completed. Be actively involved in plant maintenance when necessary to ensure the safe and efficient return on operation of equipment. Ensure that operational plant is maintained to the highest level of safety and environmental standards, with quick response to breakdowns. Implement asset care and condition-based monitoring where appropriate. For all scheduled shut down periods ensure comprehensive planning processes are in place to ensure all resources required are available in terms of parts and labour (internal and external). Post shutdown, critically review activities and document findings to drive plant improvement where necessary and to share best practice with other sites where applicable. Experience (Essential) Proven experience working in a modern dynamic manufacturing business Can demonstrate strong experience of leading a small maintenance team and/or planning and executing maintenance activities Experience of plant operations and meeting production targets in same or similar industry Excellent mathematical skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Qualifications (Essential) Qualified to a minimum of HND level in an engineering discipline (or equivalent) or can fully demonstrate comparable experience Good Higher results in Mathematics and a science related subject Full UK Driving licence and own vehicle This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing business.
