The Role
We are seeking a growth-focused Account Executive to join our Retail, Leisure and Hospitality Practice within WTW’s Corporate Risk & Broking division. You will manage a portfolio of clients across these sectors, including complex, high-value accounts requiring tailored risk management solutions. This role is based in our WTW London office and offered on a hybrid basis.
Client Relationship Management
* Understand the risk landscape across the retail, leisure and hospitality sectors, including reputational, cyber, and operational exposures
* Build strong relationships with clients, including multi-site and international operations
* Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver data-driven insurance solutions
* Support programme structuring, pricing, and placement strategies tailored to sector-specific needs.
Business Development
* Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts across retail, leisure and hospitality
* Support cross-selling initiatives across WTW’s broader service offerings
* Maintain deep knowledge of insurance products and market trends relevant to these sectors.
Placement Management
* Coordinate with WTW’s broking teams and market contacts to place programmes effectively
* Ensure compliance with FCA and contract certainty standards
* Review client documentation and policy coverage for sector-specific risks.
Operational Delivery
* Deliver excellent service aligned with WTW’s standards and client expectations
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and revenue tracking for the practice
* Contribute to the development of client service plans and performance metrics.
Qualifications
The Requirements
We welcome applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences who can demonstrate:
* Excellent knowledge of account development and client relationship management
* Experience managing the annual renewal cycle and coordinating with Account Directors and service teams
* Technical insurance knowledge across major classes
* Sector experience in retail, leisure or hospitality is preferred
* Ability to build relationships with clients, prospects, and internal/external stakeholders
* All-inclusive communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
* Professional qualifications such as ACII or equivalent are welcomed but not essential.
