The role
would suit individuals who are looking to specialise in partnership compliance in a supportive, diverse and inclusive environment. As a Senior Associate in the team the role would encompass the following:
1. Responsibility for co-ordinating delivery of compliance for a portfolio of partnership clients including preparation of complex partnership computations for the largest clients and review of straightforward computations and returns;
2. Preparing and co-ordinating client queries in relation to data requests, including initial review of follow up queries and correspondence with appropriate internal and external parties;
3. Working as part of a national team focussed on compliance alongside advisory teams;
4. Organising, monitoring and managing your own workload including preparing and managing budgets;
5. Developing yourself and colleagues, through delegation and coaching
6. Opportunities to get involved in the ongoing development of technology to support our compliance work.
This role is for you if :
7. Must possess a ACA/CTA or ACCA Qualification (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
8. Strong UK tax skills and technical knowledge including experience of the preparation of tax computations and returns. Experience of preparation of UK partnership tax computations and returns is preferred (but not essential).
9. Tax literate with experience of tax software packages and strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
10. Committed to providing a quality service in a deadline driven environment.
11. Demonstrable ability to work within a team;
12. Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
