Job Title: Night Veterinary Surgeon Salary: £50,000-£60,000 (Dependent upon experience) Location: Wicstun Vets, Market Weighton Job Type: Permanent Hours : 7 nights on and 14 nights off. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ECC and have experience working in a hospital environment. The role does include potential to study towards ECC certificate for the right person if desired. You will work alongside a dedicated on-site ECC nurse, as well as nursing support staff for additional support during night shifts. Case handovers at the beginning and end of every shift allowing plenty of time for clinical discussion. Working a 7 on, 14 off rota enables work/life balance with ample recovery and recouperation time. Our RCVS accredited hospital is purpose built and very well equipped! Facilities include CT, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and more. We also have a dedicated rehabilitation suite, 3 theatres and dog and cat only consult rooms, dedicated wards and clinics (as well as much more!). Must be confident and have experience stabilising acute medical cases and emergency surgeries. Confident in performing GDV, splenectomy, enterotomy, and caesarean procedures.
