We are seeking an organised and proactive individual who can provide confidential and responsive administrative support to the Recovery College team. The post holder will deliver an effective administrative service to the MSE Recovery College team, including dedicated support to the Recovery College Lead, and will have day-to-day management responsibility for the administration team. The role is based in Thurrock, with an expectation to travel across the area when required, including occasional travel to course venues. Advert The post holder will provide high-quality, confidential administrative support to the Recovery College Lead and wider Recovery College team, while also overseeing the day-to-day coordination of the administration function. Key duties include managing enquiries from students, trainers and partner organisations in a professional and sensitive manner; producing high-quality correspondence, reports and presentations; and maintaining effective office systems to support service efficiency. The role includes coordinating Recovery College courses, maintaining accurate course records, managing registers and communications, and using spreadsheets and databases to monitor activity, attendance and performance information. The post holder will organise and support meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes and coordinating follow-up actions. They will also distribute performance and compliance reports and support monitoring activities across the team. Additional responsibilities include inputting and maintaining records on Trust systems (such as absence, leave and travel), supporting procurement processes, and ensuring adequate administrative cover across the service, including providing reception or front-of-house support on occasion where required. The role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise competing demands, and the confidence to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. A summary is below: Provide day-to-day running of the Recovery College administration team, overseeing and prioritising workload to ensure smooth operational flow. Deliver a confidential, effective and efficient administrative service to the Recovery College Lead and wider team members, including Health Trainers and Peer Trainers. Produce a range of high-quality confidential documents, reports, correspondence and presentations from written or electronic sources. Manage enquiries from students, trainers and partner agencies in a sensitive and professional manner, ensuring accurate message taking and appropriate follow-up. Establish and maintain effective office systems and procedures, including bring-forward systems to ensure timely action on correspondence and information. Arrange and coordinate meetings, including venue booking, preparing agendas, taking and distributing minutes, and communicating any changes.
