Commissioning Project Engineer (Acceptance & Commissioning)
Location: Capenhurst, Cheshire (with travel as required)
Salary: £45-£50 inside IR35
Security Clearance: Eligible for SC Clearance
About the Role
We are seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join the Acceptance & Commissioning (A&C) team, supporting the delivery of major capital projects across a diverse portfolio of engineering programmes.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to work on complex projects within a highly regulated environment, supporting engineering activities from design through to testing, commissioning, acceptance and operational handover. You will work closely with project teams, contractors and operational stakeholders to ensure systems and plant modifications are delivered safely, compliantly and fit for purpose.
While experience within the nuclear sector is advantageous, we welcome applications from candidates with commissioning experience gained in other highly regulated industries including pharmaceutical, chemical processing, energy, utilities, oil & gas, aerospace and defence.
