Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant Wanted - Immediate Start
Location: Runcorn Contract: Full-time, Long-term
We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a thriving SEN school in Runcorn. This is a full-time, long-term position starting immediately.
The Role:
* Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH & Physical disabilities.
* Assist in delivering individualised learning plans and promoting independence.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other practitioners to ensure every child achieves their full potential.
* Support classroom activities and help manage behaviour positively and effectively.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role in an educational setting.
* A good understanding of special educational needs and strategies to support them.
* Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential.
* DBS certificate (on the update service) or willingness to obtain one.
