About Us We are a busy and well-established HGV dealership, representing a leading commercial vehicle brand, providing servicing, maintenance, and repair solutions to a wide range of fleet and transport operators. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a highly organised and professional Service Administrator to support our workshop and service department.
The Role As a Service Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the service department.You act as the first point of contact for customers entering the dealership for a service on their vehicle.
This is a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who thrives under pressure and has strong attention to detail.
Service Advisor Key Responsibilities Raising and processing job cards and repair orders
Booking in vehicles for service, MOT and repair work
Updating customers on vehicle progress and completion times
Processing invoices and ensuring accuracy of billing
Ordering parts and liaising with the parts department
Maintaining service records and compliance documentation
Warranty administration and submissions
Handling customer queries in a professional manner
Supporting the Service Manager with general administrative duties
Service Administrator Requirements Previous experience in a SService Advisor role (HGV experience desirable but not essential)
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Good IT skills (experience with Kerridge/Autoline or similar DMS advantageous)
Ability to work in a busy workshop environment
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
