Codec is hiring a Senior Project Manager based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence in the Codec office while also working remotely with clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage larger and more complex projects, potentially overseeing multiple projects and several customers in parallel.
* Maintain project data, planning and forecasting in Codec’s PM tool Projector.
* Handle all project phases from pre‑sales through implementation and handover to operational support.
* Act as the single point of accountability and primary contact for projects.
* Ensure projects stay within agreed scope, budget and schedule, applying change‑management processes when required.
* Identify and manage inter‑dependencies with other projects.
* Collaborate with Codec’s governance structures, including the PMO, RMO and Senior Leadership Team, to address client engagement considerations promptly and maintain a positive organisational image.
* Formulate and update project plans and maintain project schedules.
* Identify, document and manage project risks, assumptions, issues & dependencies (RAID), implementing mitigating actions.
* Report project progress in line with organisational policies and procedures.
* Estimate project costs as required.
* Manage project milestones, deliverables and resources.
Required Experience
* 5+ years in a senior project management role.
* Experience in large enterprise organisations delivering business application projects, preferably within the IT industry.
* Preferred: experience with ERP projects (Microsoft Business Central) and CRM/Workflow projects (Microsoft Dynamics).
* Proven track record of delivering projects to agreed scope, budget and schedule.
* Management of cross‑functional project teams.
* Proficient in MS Project.
* Experience operating in agile, waterfall and hybrid project management styles.
* Preferred: experience using Projector or similar professional services automation tools.
* Demonstrated resilience and composure in leading large, complex projects with demanding customer stakeholders and challenging internal technical delivery teams.
