Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to support a major UK portfolio, ensuring best‑in‑class safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across multiple client sites.
This is a high‑impact role, working closely with operational teams, clients, and senior stakeholders to embed a proactive safety culture and deliver robust HSE performance.
The Role
* Lead and drive HSE performance across a multi‑site UK portfolio, ensuring full compliance with legislation, CBRE standards, and client requirements.
* Provide expert HSE advice and support to operational teams, managers, and clients, acting as the key point of contact for all health, safety, and environmental matters.
* Manage risk assessments, audits, and investigations, ensuring actions are tracked, closed out, and lessons learned are embedded.
* Promote a strong safety culture, supporting training, toolbox talks, behavioural safety initiatives, and continuous improvement programmes.
* Monitor, analyse, and report HSE performance, producing accurate data, insights, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
About You
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) with strong practical HSE experience in a multi‑site or client‑facing environment.
* Proven experience conducting audits, investigations, and risk assessments, with a practical, solutions‑focused approach.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence at all levels and work collaboratively.
* Highly organised and detail‑focused, with strong reporting, documentation, and IT skills (Microsoft Office).
* Self‑motivated and adaptable, comfortable working independently, travelling across sites, and managing multiple priorities.
