Position Summary: To oversee the work of the Reverse Logistics & Hygiene teams to ensure functional operation and hygiene standards. Support and assist the Reverse Logistics and Hygiene Manager to ensure core operational priorities of the business are completed to a high standard. Responsibilities: Support daily operations to meet performance and hygiene standards, acting as department lead in the manager’s absence to ensure continuity and effective decision-making. Coordinate yard activities, including the movement and loading of pallets, trays, and waste streams, while liaising with transport teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely collections and smooth operations. Manage barrel trailer processes, including unloading, palletising, reloading, and replenishment, and assist with workload coordination to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Monitor and maintain site hygiene in line with food safety and health and safety standards, support the wider hygiene team as needed, and complete all operational and administrative tasks accurately in line with company and legal requirements, working safely within a multi-temperature environment. Able to work on own initiative and as a team with minimal supervision. Strong organisational skills. Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes to meet the demands placed on MBUK by our customer. Technical competencies You need to be computer literate and have a good understanding of Microsoft office. FLT experience is essential. Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP) experience is desirable.
