The Finance Manager will ensure the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations across purchase ledger, sales ledger, cash book transactions whilst ensuring that Octavia's bank accounts and balances are within agreed limits. The Finance Supervisor will lead, develop, and motivate a team of finance assistants, and be a figurehead for financial excellence.

1. The role manages a team of Finance Assistants and has full responsibility for the Accounts Payable function and will take the lead on the Accounts Payable transformation programme
2. Sets the principles, processes and standards for effective change management within the Accounts Payable function
3. Builds and maintains strong stakeholder relationships both internally and externally to support the transformation delivery objectives
4. Works closely with the Project Management Officer, IT and other technical support teams to incorporate the changes to the chart of accounts and new finance system into the Accounts Payable system
5. Manage an efficient and customer-focused transaction service covering the financial operations of the Group, including sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control, petty cash, credit cards and banking
