How you'll make an impact
As
Assistant Tax and Partnership Accountant
, you'll play a vital role supporting the firm's tax and partner accounting processes, working closely with the Tax and Partnership Accountant and CFO. You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of financial operations across both partnership and corporate entities.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting partnership and corporate tax compliance, including preparing computations, tax returns, and payment schedules.
Assisting with tax provisions for financial statements and ensuring timely submissions.
Managing partner distributions, capital account movements, and reconciliations.
Providing VAT and payroll support, including reviewing returns and resolving queries.
Maintaining the integrity of financial data through accurate postings and reconciliations.
Liaising with external auditors and tax advisers.
Driving continuous improvement across financial systems and processes.
This is a varied and developmental role offering excellent technical exposure and the chance to work within a high-calibre finance team.

You'll ideally bring:
Working towards, or have completed, the CTA qualification, or a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA).
Experience in tax compliance for individuals, partnerships and companies.
An interest in and good knowledge across UK business tax, VAT, employment tax and personal tax.
Familiarity with standard personal and corporation tax packages.
The ability to clearly communicate in writing.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
Working knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards.
Exceptional double entry bookkeeping skills.
