Responsibilities
* Long Term Condition management
* Cytology, smears, and related specimen collection
* Childhood immunisations and vaccinations
* Contraception provision
* Swabs, specimens, bloods and blood pressure measurements
* Accurate and detailed health records on the EMIS system
* Key role in QOF/QIF achievement
* Involvement in the multidisciplinary team (MDT) of the surgery
Additional Support
* Clinical audits
* Safeguarding concerns
* Shared learning and practice development
* Support to GPs in patient care
* Review of clinical practices and response to national policy changes
* Participation in local initiatives to enhance patient care
Qualifications
* Experience working within a nursing team in a general practice setting
* Experience with EMIS system
* Current UK professional registration
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
